This tends to work better than round-robin, as the randomness will somewhat account for spreading loads where requests vary in response time, while round-robin can sometimes lead to overloaded nodes if there are variations in response times across the workload. (2) “bestResponseTime” - the driver will route the request to the host that had the best response time for the previous transaction.


If ‘emulateLocators’ is configured to ‘true’, what size buffer should be used when fetching BLOB data for getBinaryInputStream?


Should the driver use multiqueries (irregardless of the setting of “allowMultiQueries”) as well as rewriting of prepared statements for INSERT into multi-value inserts when executeBatch() is called? Notice that this has the potential for SQL injection if using plain java.sql.Statements and your code doesn’t sanitize input correctly. Mas esperem ahí, DisplayAuthors2 é uma copia ( simples copy-paste) de um outro arquivo DisplayAuthors (no mesmo pacote, no mesmo projeto) que se conecta sem problemas ao banco de dados MySQL. O jar do Driver ja ta no classpath e nos “referenced libraries” do projeto.
Se eu executo DisplayAuthors2 desde o prompt DOS com “java -classpath .;c:\mysql-connector-java-5.1.13-bin.jar DisplayAuthors2” se conecta bem,
Então tenho 2 arquivos iguais, no mesmo pacote, no mesmo projeto (so muda o nome) so que um se conecta bem e o outro não…
Alguem sabe me dizer qual é o problema?

O usuário e senha do banco estão corretos?

Creio que você não esteja passando a porta do banco para conexão nessa linha

Lucas, o usuario e a senha estão corretas.

O que me chama a atenção é que como falei, e um arquivo literalmente, exatamente igual a outro. Para escriber o DisplayAuthors2 so copiei e colei o digo do DisplayAuthors e agreguei o 2 no seu nome. Os dois estão no mesmo pacote , mesmo projeto, e um funciona corretamente (se conecta com a base e devolve os valores) e o outro não, me imprime aquelo que eu subi.
Isso ta quemando minha cabeça.

Facundo como nosso amigo acima falou, ta parecendo que é a string de conexão.

Geralmente para conectar no MySql precisa colocar a porta…

Caso não funcione, use o modo debug e veja exatamente onde está acontecendo o erro…

Obrigado, mas intente de novo a questão da porta… mas ele não tira nenhum exception, e nenhum error quando faço o debug, so aquelo mesmo que eu postie acima. E mais parecido com a questão do carregamento o Driver que com a questão da conexão mesma.
Se eu executo com “java -classpath c:\mysql-connector… DisplayAuthors2” ele executa.
É doido mesmo…

Tive o mesmo problema, encontrei num forum em ingles a resposta (pra mim funcionou).
Selecione “Run As” e selecione Java Application.
Ele vai rodar e o problema não acontecerá mais.
