Ola pessoal sou novo aqui estou coomeçando agora e estou com uma duvida e gostaria que vcs me ajudassem.
Fiz um sistema de castro simples so pra ter noção e poder estudar os codigos melhores.
Um sistema de cadastro de animais e setor esse sistema e um tutorial do netbeans.
tenho 2 classes Animal e Pavilion

o que acontece e que quando vou cadastrar o animal e tenho que selecionar o Pavilion so aparece o sequinte:

so esta buscando pelo id eu gostaria que buscasse pelo nome se puderem me ajudar vlw

Na sua classe, vc está sobrescrevendo o método ToString e como resultado ele está imprimindo o ID. Esse é o problema.
Sempre que vc tentar imprimir um objeto, ele vai tentar imprimir o toString dele, se vc retornar somente o “nome” é só isso que aparecerá.
No seu caso é um texto concatenado com o id.

aonde teria que mudar, ou qual a solução teria que fazer teria como vc implementar um pedacinho do codigo so pra mim ter noção

Então, substitua o ToString da sua classe por isso:

@Override public String toString() { return this.name; }

Acho que isso já resolve seu problema.
Pelo que vi, é só substituir das duas classes.
