Olá turma. Estou usando Maven no Eclipse e acho que está dando problema com o proxy:
Could not resolve archetype org.apache.maven.archetypes:maven-archetype-webapp:1.0 from any of the configured repositories.
Coloquei meu proxy no settings.xml e persiste o erro:
O m2e, plugin pro maven do eclipse, eh conhecido ja em dar problemas. Pra isolar as coisas, tenta ver se funciona quando voce roda o projeto pela linha de comando, pra ver se o problema eh mesmo no maven ou no eclipse. Por exemplo, da um “mvn dependency:resolve” no projeto.
Deu esse resultado:

Senao funcionou pela linha de comando eh sinal que pelo Eclipse tambem tem motivo pra nao funcionar. Tenta configurar o proxy e testa ate funcionar pela linha de comando, e depois tenta o eclipse. Pelo menos voce ve um problema de cada vez.
Olha se voce ta usando o arquivo settings correto, etc etc. Sera que voce nao tem dois binarios do maven instalados e pode ta executando o errado? Enfim. Tem muitas possibilidades. Mas pelo menos a gente ja sabe que o problema nao eh so no eclipse.
