Erro ao alterar no hibernate

Recebo esse erro ao tentar atualizar um item no hibernate.

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: javax.el.ELException: Error reading 'id' on type br.com.softsol.compresempre.modelo.Item_$$_javassist_2

E recebo esse erro, ao tentar excluir o item.

br.com.caelum.vraptor.InterceptionException: exception raised, check root cause for details: org.hibernate.ObjectNotFoundException: No row with the given identifier exists: [br.com.softsol.compresempre.modelo.Item#83]
