Olá, esta dando esse erro quando dou start no tomcat, o erro esta abaixo, será que alguém pode me ajudar:

Você tentou iniciar pelo Eclipse segundo o log enviado.

Verifica o DUMP no arquivo hs_err_pid2588.log ou informe ele aqui no forum, pois normalmente este arquivo detalha o necessário para diagnóstico.

Esta violação de acesso a memória foi causado dentro de uma DLL (tcnative-1.dll) para execução nativa do TOMCAT no processador x86.

Pode ter ocorrido por falta de compatibilidade do TOMCAT com o Windows, ou JRE ou com o Eclipse.

Informe a versão de todos estes caras e ainda informe se o Windows é 32 ou 64 bits.

Seu JRE está atualizado na última versão 7 Update 15. Esta versão dá suporte a Windows XP com SP3 para x86. Ou seja, está correto o Java para seu ambiente.

Esta falha apesar de ocorrer dentro da JVM, não significa que é problema na JVM, pois o problema mesmo está em:

Veja, a JVM do Java 7 não é compatível com este Apache Tomcat Native.

Só por via das dúvidas, faça as seguintes revisões:

  1. Verifica se a versão do Tomcat é compatível com JRE7, caso não seja, apenas instale uma versão compatível. Mas se for:

  2. Verifica no menu “Apache Tomcat->Configure Tomcat”, aba “Java” se realmente você está utilizando a JVM.dll da sua última atualização do JRE (7 update 15), se não estiver correto a JVM.dll, indique o caminho correto. Mas se estiver correto:

  3. Troque esta versão nativa do Tomcat por uma versão convencional para evitar a DLL problemática.

Obs.: Há muitos anos, utilizo o JBOSS AS, pois ele é uma versão do TOMCAT turbinada em relação a gerenciamento de memória. O TOMCAT é bom para desenvolver, mas para produção não é recomendável.
