[Help] Java on x64

Well, sorry to post my problems but i really need help so…
if any1 could help, i would be very glad to receive support

here it goes:

I’m using Windows Server 2003 on a x64.
I’ve installed jre 1.6.0, without problems,
i can open web app in java with no problems too,
but when i try to open some desktop app

i got the following msg :

>>>>>‘java’ is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.<<<<<

most of ppl said that we only get this msg when java is not
installed on your pc, but i got it…
And some ppl said that the “path” enviroment variable
could be wrong, but i dont think so.

So, there’s any help or tip you guys can gimme?
i would be very glad to receive it

I think this forum is portuguese only, look by forums on your language. =D

That’s ok. You are needing to install the SDK (Sun Developer Kit), JRE is only the virtual machine.

Good luck anyway.

Edit: Sorry, i’m wrong, but try to install the JRE again.
