Alguem ae sabe como eu faco para instalar o axis 2.0 pq na pagina do axis so tem como instalar o source e nao o binary… alguem pode me ajudar por favor

Não tem que instalar (tipo .exe do windows) nada.
Leia algum tutorial para ver o que você precisa colocar no seu ambiente/aplicação para usar esta biblioteca.

Sem esquecer que quase tudo que o Axis faz, o XFire também faz e algumas coisas importantes que o Axis ainda não faz, já são cobertas pelo XFire. Como o XFire parece mais fácil de usar do que o Axis, vale a pena depois de usar o Axis comparar o desempenho com o XFire. O desenvolvedor do XFire garante que será bem melhor.

Daqui a alguns dias pretendo fazer esta comparação. Se alguém se oferecer para fazer antes e postar aqui, eu agradeceria.

que nao tem q instalar eu sei, eu preciso saber o q eu faco pq no axis1.3 eu tinha q copiar o webapps do axis para o do tomcat, mas nem no site do axis fala como fazer entendeu…
