openSUSE 11 x86_64 não reconhece 4gb de memória

Opa galera,

Dei fim no meu Ubuntu e migrei pro openSUSE, até agora está tudo em paz, mas esse problema da memória está meio complicado, já rodei o google e até agora nada nem pra começar a resolver.

Eu estou com dois pentes de 2gb (a memória é a Dominator da Corsair) mas o SUSE só está reconhecendo 2.9gb. A placa mãe acusa certinho os 4gbs ligados em Dual Channel, mas no SO eles não aparecem. A minha placa mãe é uma DP965LT da Intel e o uname é esse:

Acho que no CD de boot do openSUSE vem o esquema que chama o MemTest para testar sua memória, veja o quanto de memória ele testa se são 2.9Gb ou 4Gb…

Rodei o memtest (parei no 3 teste, já tava em 18 minutos rodando…) e ele estava rodando as coisas com os 4gb :frowning:

Vou postar lá também, interessante que o javascript do form de registro não funciona no firefox, além de ser extremamente fresco com senhas, mas vamos lá…

E era problema de BIOS :lol:

Atualizei a BIOS da placa mãe e está tudo em paz agora, o SUSE está enxergando tudo direitinho, agora só falta fazero o microfone funcionar no Skype \o/
