Spring MVC - Dúvida Hello World

pessoal, estou mexendo pela primeira vez em spring mvc ,nao estou conseguindo imprimir nada na tela com este hello world

tenho um controller

package br.com.diaz;

import org.springframework.stereotype.Controller;
import org.springframework.web.bind.annotation.RequestMapping;
import org.springframework.web.servlet.ModelAndView;

@Controller
public class Front {

	@RequestMapping()
	public ModelAndView teste(){
		
		ModelAndView mav = new ModelAndView("/algum.jsp");
			mav.addObject("saida","funciona perfeitamente");
			return mav;
	}
}

uma pagina algum.jsp que imprime o atributo do controller

dois xmls, applicationContext e action-servlet, inclusive acho que o erro eh nesse mapeamento.....
