Olá. Gostaria de saber se tem como deixar o tamanho do JLabel fixo, para quando ele aumentar de tamanho
não prejudique os outros componentes distorcendo eles. ?

Tipo o meu é um JLabel númerico certo, então quando é adicionado um valor grande ele já destroi todo o layout e os outros componentes…

Mas ele não pode guardar um numero que seja maior que sua dimensão, talvez seja o caso de você rever qual componente usar, ou o tipo/tamanho de fonte, ou mesmo o gerenciador de layout

É melhor colocar seu JLabel dentro de um JScrollPane. Ou repensar esse layout.

Bom eu comecei trabalhando com JavaWeb na época
mas estou aprofundando nos componentes do swing
para poder fazer aplicações desktop também
e integrar java com outros frameworks como em
Java + Flex por exemplo.
Mas notei uma certa facilidade para mexer com jPanels
e contornar esse problema:
Lembrando que estou estudando o JScrollPane
que o Vini falou também pois ainda estou vendo a melhor forma de fazer para mim.
