Pessoal,
Eu consigo levantar o servidor dentro do Eclipse, mas o Tomcat 7.0.25 não está autenticando o usuário.
Segue, abaixo, o arquivo tomcat-users.xml
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

<tomcat-users>
<!--
NOTE: By default, no user is included in the "manager-gui" role required
to operate the "/manager/html" web application. If you wish to use this app,
you must define such a user - the username and password are arbitrary.
-->
<!--
NOTE: The sample user and role entries below are wrapped in a comment
and thus are ignored when reading this file. Do not forget to remove
<!.. ..> that surrounds them.
-->
<role ronename = "manager"/>
<user username="admin" password="123456" roles="manager"/>
</tomcat-users>
Eu consigo dar “start” no server dentro do Eclipse Indigo.
Quando tento usar o comando
http://localhost:8080/admin
e preencho os campos com o username e a password do arquivo tomcat-users.xml, ele não só não autentica, como fica na mesma caixa de diálogo, solicitando usuário e senha, não consegue autenticar e não saí disto.
Agradeço a quem puder me ajudar.
