Trazendo informação do banco pra um JTextField

Olá pessoal.

No meu formulário se eu fizer,

System.out.println(con.rs.getString("nome"));

ele aparece certinho no console o nome que tem no banco de dados, mas se eu fizer

txtNome.setText(con.rs.getString("nome"));

ele aparece

Provavelmente a sua variável txtNome está nula.
Verifica se antes de você setar um valor para o textfield, você está instanciando este textfield, do tipo:

txtNome = new JTextField();
