Não consigo popular comboBox em JavaFX com uma ObservableList

Olá, tenho o seguinte código no meu controlador:

Estou querendo popular esta comboBox com a ObservableList retornada pelo método no MainApp. Eu tentei aquelas 3 formas que comentei, e tentei outras formas também com For-each, mas nenhuma funciona, sempre me retorna NullPointerException, vou mandar o StackTrace:

Essa linha onde ocorre o erro, no caso a linha 99 é sempre na linha que vou adicionar a lista na comboBox, por exemplo:

O fxml tem esse id declarado?
Use o debug, veja que está null na linha 99.

o fxid está setado e não consigo descobrir oque está dando NullPointer.

Marcar as linhas com debug e ver quem está null.
